We provide weekly classes suitable for absolute beginners through to experienced painters. In addition we host one to five day workshops in a wide range of media for artists of all abilities. These are taught by top nationally and internationally renowned visiting artists.

Book your place on one of our next workshops
Workshops are run by resident artists and nationally and internationally renowned artists. These are held regularly at East Devon Art Academy, Old Fore Street, Sidmouth EX10 8LS.
Workshops run 10am to 4pm each day, unless stated otherwise. Please bring your own paints, paper, canvases and brushes, unless materials are provided. Easels, drawing boards and studio items such as water pots, scissors and masking tape will be provided. Materials can also be purchased at South West Art Materials, opposite the studio.
Please note that if a workshop has to be cancelled, you will be reimbursed in full. If a workshop is marked as full, it is always worth contacting us in case a place becomes available.
Developing each student's individual artistic potential
Drawing, painting, oils, watercolour and mixed media. Monday to Wednesday, for adults and young students.

Ages 8 to 14: Wednesday 5.15 to 6.15pm
£50 for five lessons. All materials supplied.
A chance to get together with like-minded people to paint and draw in a calm environment. Tuesday evenings, 6pm to 8pm. £6 a session.
