Catherine Osbond Catherine is Director of East Devon Art Academy and teaches most of the courses. She studied Architecture at University College, London and Fine Art and Printing at Middlesex University. For over twenty years Catherine taught Art and Design at various school s and colleges of Further and Adult Education. She is a practising artist who specialises in expressive landscapes and the human form. She works in all media but especially in oils, acrylics and watercolour. In addition Catherine has illustrated books and has had greetings cards published. |

Matt Culmer Matt is a practising artist and teacher who specialises in oils and acrylics. He works mainly from the landscape and is interested in the traditional form of oil painting. He has studied at the Florence Academy of Art and with various prominent British artists. |

Gill Burbidge Gill is a practising artist and teacher who teaches all aspects of Art and Design but specialises in Felt-making. Gill has been teaching Art, Design and Fibre Art since 2004 at Bicton College. Gill trained at University of Loughborough (Art and Design), University of Leicester (Humanities (Hons) 2:I ) and at the University of Plymouth ( Fine Art, Diploma). Research interests included The Role of Art in Expansion of Identity and Felt Making a metaphor for Social Diversity;. It is the haptic nature of felt making i.e. direct contact with the materials, which Gill finds satisfying and inspiring. |
