Catherine Osbond

Catherine is Director of East Devon Art Academy and teaches most of the courses. She studied Architecture at University College, London and Fine Art and Printing at Middlesex University.

For over twenty years Catherine taught Art and Design at various school s and colleges of Further and Adult Education. She is a practising artist who specialises in expressive landscapes and the human form. She works in all media but especially in oils, acrylics and watercolour.

Gill Burbidge

Gill is a practising artist and teacher who teaches all aspects of Art and Design but specialises in Felt-making. Gill has been teaching Art, Design and Fibre Art since 2004 at Bicton College.

Gill trained at University of Loughborough (Art and Design), University of Leicester (Humanities (Hons) 2:I ) and at the University of Plymouth ( Fine Art, Diploma).

Research interests included The Role of Art in Expansion of Identity and Felt Making a metaphor for Social Diversity;.
