Acrylic paper/board At least A4 size.

Acrylic paints: tubes of the following colours:
Titanium white, cadmium yellow light, yellow ochre, raw umber,
burnt umber, light red, cadmium red, cerulean blue, ultramarine blue, Phthalocyanine blue, Phthalocyanine green, Payne’s Grey.

Acrylic Brushes : one large wash brush (flat) size 12 or 14.
2-4 smaller brushes in various sizes (between 2-10), in a variety of flat and round.
Acrylic brushes are available in bristle, synthetic fibres and natural hair.
Decorator’s brushes can also be useful for laying large areas of colour! (They are also much cheaper than artist’s brushes).


You will also need :

• A palette. This can be a simple china plate, china palette, disposable palettes or special acrylic ‘stay-wet’ palette
• a board to rest work on (if using paper)
• masking tape
• two jam jars/water pots.
• a drawing pencil (2B)
• a putty rubber will also be useful.
